What is the vessel-like artifact hanging inside the Kaaba?

What are the pottery artifacts hanging inside the Kaaba? Most of us, when we see the interior scenes of the Kaaba, what we find most strange are the old pottery artifacts.

Kaaba Allah covers an area of approximately 180 square meters and its roof is supported by three strong wooden pillars.

The wood of the pillars is one of the strongest woods in the world and the Sahabi Rasool Hazrat Abdullah bin Zubair (RA) made these three wooden pillars.

Almost 1350 years have passed by this time They are dark brown and each vertical pillar of wood has a circumference of about 150 cm and a diameter ie a width of 44 cm.

From the middle of these three pillars, a thin beam is hanging and it passes through the center of the three pillars, on which hang the gifts and artifacts of the Kaaba.

These pot-like artifacts are artifacts presented to Kaaba Sharif by the heads of Muslim countries during the Islamic period.

Some of these artifacts may belong to the period of the Prophet and Caliphs

Apart from this, there are also artifacts presented during the Ottoman Caliphate period. These artifacts are possibly of three types.

Number one lamps and lanterns In the era when there was no electricity, lamps or lanterns were hung for lighting inside the Kaaba.

These include antique lanterns and lamps made of gold and silver

Number two was incensing. Among them, there are also incense burners or censers in which these aromatic incense were burned. This is an ancient tradition. The Kaaba is perfumed with the aroma of Oud amber and other precious spices

Number three, they may also include the rose water and perfumes used during the bath of the Kaaba

These artifacts have been presented from time to time by various sultans and Islamic rulers since the Prophetic period and the Rashideen Caliphate.

Therefore, they were not removed out of respect and they were allowed to remain inside the Kaaba of Allah.

The Kaaba has two roofs, one inner and the other outer

An additional external roof was built to strengthen the Kaaba, with a gap of more than one meter between the two roofs.

There is also a box in the Kaaba that contains the ancient gifts of the Kaaba presented by various scholars.

According to the Al-Haramain Sharifin Presidency, on the right side of the Kaaba is the Rukn al-Shami in the interior, with a staircase leading to a rectangular room.

There is no window in this room, but it has a door Its special lock is a lock and a beautiful silk curtain hangs over its door

And there is a gold and silver color pattern on it. The presidency also says that the inner floor of the Kaaba is made of marble, however, pieces of other colors of marble are also placed on the floor.

The interior of the Kaaba is decorated with beautiful marble pieces and covered with a red silk curtain.

Arabic words and good names are written on it in white. The same curtain also covers the roof of the Kaaba.

There are eight stones inside the Kaaba with Arabic texts engraved on them

Arabic text in the Kufi script is written on a stone. This beautiful writing dates back to the period after the 6th century AH.

On the eastern wall, between the door of the Kaaba and the Bab of Repentance, there is a document of the former Saudi ruler, King Fahd bin Abdul Aziz and Al Saud, engraved on marble.

It records the date of the construction of the Kaaba, thus the number of stones containing texts inside the Kaaba is 10 and all of them are white marble.

May Allah favor every one of us with the appearance of his home
