The second accident of Pakistan International Airlines occurred on July 1, 1957, when a Douglas DC-3 aircraft of PIA crashed on its way from Chittagong to Dhaka, killing 24 people on board. Which today we know as Bangladesh

On May 15, 1958, PIA faced another accident when a flight from Delhi to Karachi caught fire moments after take-off, killing 25 people along with the crew.

On May 18, 1959, PIA’s latest aircraft, Vickers Viscount, crashed while landing at Islamabad airport, all on board were burnt to ashes.

14th August Independence Day 1959 PIA’s newest aircraft skidded off the runway while landing at Karachi Airport during training, killing three crew members.

On March 26, 1965, Douglas DC -3, en route to Chitral from Peshawar, crashed and turned into a pile of ash near the Lorry Pass, killing 21 people.

On May 20, 1965, a PI Boeing 720 plane crashed before landing at Cairo Airport, killing 121 people on board.

On October 8, 1965, a Fokker F-27 flying from Rawalpindi to Skardu crashed near Pattian, killing four crew members.

On February 2, 1966, Sikorsky S-61 crashed while en route from Dhaka to Faridpur in East Pakistan, killing 24 people.

On August 6, 1970, a Fokker F27 flight from Rawalpindi to Lahore crashed moments after take-off, killing 53 passengers.

PIA’s Fokker F27 flight from Gilgit to Rawalpindi crashed in the rain, and 26 people were martyred. This accident took place on December 6, 1972.

On November 26, 1979, a PIA plane carrying pilgrims from Jeddah to Karachi, Boeing 707 crashed near Taif, killing 156 people.

On October 23, 1986, a PIA Fokker F27 plane crashed while landing at Peshawar Airport, 13 people were martyred, while 41 people survived.

On August 17, 1988, an army plane carrying the then General Zia-ul-Haq crashed near Bahawalpur, killing 30 people.

August 25, 1989, Gilgit Rawalpindi PIA Fokker F-27 disappeared in the air and has not been found till today, it had 54 people on board who were martyred.

On September 28, 1992, a PIA Airbus A300 crashed near the runway in Kathmandu, Nepal, killing 167 people.

On February 19, 2003, PIA suffered another accident. In this accident, Pakistan Air Force chief Mushaf Ali Mir, who was riding in a Fokker aircraft, crashed near Kohat, killing 15 people.

Pakistan International Airline PIA, which is full of accidents, on 10th July 2006 Fokker F27 flight from Multan to Lahore and Islamabad crashed killing 45 people.

July 28, 2010, is another bad day for PIA. This plane belonged to the Air Blue Company. This flight was going from Karachi to Islamabad. Airbus 321 was about to reach Islamabad when it crashed into a mountain and 152 people were martyred.

On April 20, 2012, a Boeing 737 of Bohja Airlines flying from Karachi crashed near Islamabad, killing 127 people.

On December 7, 2016, PIA flight ATR 42 going to Chitral-Islamabad met with an accident in which 48 people were martyred.

The last accident to PI happened on May 22, 2020, on a PIA flight Airbus A320 from Lahore to Karachi, which crashed near Karachi Airport, two people on board were saved and 97 people were on board. He got into this accident

How long will these accidents continue to happen to PIA?

Precious flights are being lost, homes are being destroyed, and nobody is going to ask PIA. It was PIA which was the most profitable airline but now it is being sold.
